I serve as NACE-Certified Coating Inspector and AWS Certified Welding and Utilities Inspector on Phase 1 and 2 of the Cactus II Expansion, supervising operations inside of assigned stations, collaborating with and leading station team members, and motivating them to perform with safety as first priority. I review quality assurance and quality control information while inspecting welds, doing my part to ensure adherence to established procedures and API Code 1104. In addition, I complete As-Builts, redlines, and weld mapping using Bluebeam as well as complete documentation on post-weld heat treatment for heavy wall piping and I inspect Hydrostatic Pressure testing, inspect and document Bolt-Up, and assist with coating on shell of tanks.I consistently demonstrate thorough understand of procedures and specifications prior to communicating this information to team members and overseeing implementation and serve as a liaison between contractor and inspection leadership as well as assist inspection coworkers with collection of relevant information.
