Distribution Pipeline Inspector
Current• Evaluation of the job before it starts & evaluate construction route and traffic flow.• Obtain and review appropriate maps to be sure of flow.• Walk door to door & meet with all residential customers & address any concerns they have before starting construction, make note of any concrete or paving damage prior to starting & point it out to customer to avoid problems later.• Meet with contractor to review job and discuss any concerns they may have. Obtain crew list and confirm that they are Operator Qualified.• Map progress of job daily by completing detailed as-built prints and collecting critical construction aspects utilizing GPS. Complete daily job progress report and weekly summation reports.• Oversee the construction activities of the pipeline contractor• Ensure the contractor performs activities in accordance to clients policies and procedures in addition to federal, state and local requirements• Maintain accurate, legible field notes and completion of all forms; ensuring contractor documentations is neat, accurate and legible.
