I have worked on copper telecom Systems designing, installing and maintaining Cat 3, Cat 5,Cat 6 riser cables, distribution cables and terminating and testing of all circuits involving voice, data and video (CCTV) Terminations of RJ11, RJ14, RJ21, RJ31, RJ41, RJ45, and RJ48. I have also worked on optical systems designing, installing and maintaining data systems ranging from T1, T3, OC3, OC12, OC48, and OC96 from numerous multiplexers converting to electrical terminals for the customer. I have also designed, installed, and maintained optical systems with optical hand-offs ranging from 1MB, 10MB, 100MB, ....100GIG TLS service with Canoga Perkins hand-off in server rooms for NSA, NASA, JOHNS HOPKINS APPLIED PHYSICS LABORATORY, THE STATE DEPARTMENT, THE SECRET SERVICE AGENCY, and numerous DOD Contractors supporting national security and intelligence agencies on and around Ft. Meade and Washington D.C. Every job was different. 2 or 3 days @ Northrup Grumman, 2+1/2 weeks setting up for inauguration, 4 hrs. on Ft. Meade. A day at NSA, 3hrs. upgrading cell sites. Everyday was different. Some projects lasted months, some on graveyard shift while building was empty. All representing Verizon.
