Capacity as the founder Chair of the Charity-Training Resource and Care for Kids (TRACKS) TRACKS was established 20 years ago to run an outreach provision ,in-built education and rehabilitation programmes and the medical unit on the station ,for destitute, abandoned and neglected by the family and society.T.R.A.C.K.S rehabilitates homeless single mothers and their children arriving and living on Howrah Station – Kolkata’s (Calcutta) main railway station from 1990.The priority groups are the mothers and their children alongside children living on the platform. The objective being to return the mothers and children to their family of the place of origin, where appropriate, with the necessary skills to sustain themselves and their families. We place children with other charities too as we work closely with like minded non-profit voluntary organisations who work for the same cause.Our focus is to educate the children and mothers to a level where they can be independent ,from the skill they learnt and avail employment and be members of society.
