As a Family and Community Resource Specialist at Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS), I work with diverse stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that foster collaboration, communication, and engagement among students, staff, and families. I have a Master of Liberal Studies in Women's Studies from Eastern Michigan University and a Master of Education in Educational Administration from UMass Lowell. I maintain Tier II certification in Educational Leadership from Georgia Professional Standards Commission.I have over 25 years of public education experience, including 19 years in school administration. During my previous roles as a principal, curriculum director, and an assistant principal, I led curriculum, instruction, and assessment initiatives, provided teacher training and coaching, and improved student outcomes and school climate. I am passionate about public education and its potential to create positive change in our society. My mission is to grow a school community that is inclusive, supportive, and empowering for all.
