This position allows me to combine two of my favorite things. I will be using skills that I have learned at Pariveda working with people through the consulting and turn that to coaching young people through Football and Basketball. Additionally I am returning to educating in that I will be teaching mathematics at the high school level. This is a very exciting move for me.

As an associate at Pariveda, the role on any project is one of a development lead. In that role, I lead teams of 3 to 5 developers to build a solution for our clients. This role includes (but not limited to):1. Help the team members along so that they are not blocked by themselves or the business2. Working with team members to help them grow through their career development3. Work with the business to understand user requirement for particular stories so that we were delivering what was being requested4. Work with QA to coordinate testing and determination of defects and understanding the severity and scheduling a resolution for the defect5. This allowed their support people quicker access and more efficiency in their work. Ultimately they were able to do the same amount of work with less than half the people.Texas Capital Bank - Lead Developed - Built SSIS system to support their switching to a new money laundering detection system.DaVita Rx - Lead Developer - Worked with the team to support DeVita expanding their Rx division to include more drugs.Direct Energy - Lead Developer - Helped create a data manipulation system that pulled in data from various systems to provide a data set that would allow them to accurately quote and determine their margin during the sales process.BenefitMall - Lead Developer - Created a back end system to move them from an old mainframe system to a cloud based system using Service Fabric.

Working in C++ to build a system that would monitor the data coming from the internet and blocking that data based on specific content as determined by the end user. The end user product is know as Net Nanny.

I study general relativity focusing in stable configurations of neutron stars with complex magnetic fields and mergers of neutron stars and black holes. This consists of solving the equations for General Relativity, Electricity & Magnetism, and Fluid Dynamics simultaneously in an astronomical system to determine the resultant physics in the system. Used several different mathematical computational models that allowed for increased speed and accuracy. This is primarily done with code that I wrote in C and FORTRAN on a supercomputer.Taught introductory physics classes (PH107 and PH108) over several semesters. Also, helped several different professors with their classes as a teaching assistant.

Fort Collins, Colorado Area

Back in the surface mount world. This time with visual inspection machines that were used after a circuit board was created.Built a solution for field engineers to convert files from placement machine into the location files needed by the inspection machine. Then created an auto programmer (the initial steps of machine learning system) to reduce the initial programming time from around 2 days to under 30 minutes. Later worked with the system to use machine learning to refine the programming of the system using the repair tool and feeding back when the inspection system pointed out issues in error.Worked on integration the visual inspection system output into the repair tool that was already in place for the x-ray inspection system. This work was in JAVA. A particular interesting portion was integrating JAVA into the hardware conveyor system for the circuit board production line. This called for implementing a Java Native Interface (JNI) solution for the control system.Worked on team to implement a statistical tool to show the efficiency of their production line and show the value added by the various inspection systems. Again the work was done in JAVA on a desktop with a SQL server back end.

Wireless crane and locomotive controls company.Contact point between a nation wide system of distributors and our company. Worked with them to deliver the final product to end customers.Additionally, I wrote my first commercial application. We were doing a good deal of repetitive work generating quotes for our out of the box systems. I wrote an application that allowed users to enter some simple information about a customer requirements and it would generate a quote in the form of a Word document automatically. This dramatically reduced the amount of time to create a simple quote. This application as eventually pushed to out distributor network. This allowed them a quicker time to their customers for quotations. Additionally, it allowed us to focus our time more on systems that required specific modifications to our systems. We were able to subsequently redirect half of our inside sales force to working with more complicated systems needed by clients.

Greater Chicago Area

Technical training for installation and maintenance of Rauland suite of Nurse Call products. This included both lecture and lab delivery of both hardware and software setup of the systems to allow communication between nurses and patients.Additionally provided advanced technical support of Nurse Call systems. Primarily this would happen on the phone, but at times I would go to the hospital when the system was being installed and inspect the installation and setup of the system.

Field maintenance and upgrading of surface mount placement machines. Travel across the united states to various client.

Trained as an electronics technician for Nuclear Reactor maintenance. Also qualified to operate nuclear reactors on Navel installations and on board the USS Enterprise (the aircraft carrier).
