Currently a Mechanical engineer in new product development. The role functions as lead and backup engineer for new product development and sustaining engineering projects. This includes creating parts, assemblies, and drawings using SolidWorks, and coordinating applicable experiments to meet UL and Pinnacle safety, quality, and performance standards. The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the setup and verification of parts and BOMs in ERP systems using engineering change processes. This position continues to provide Manufacturing Engineering support by coordinating production trainings, as well as assisting with DFMA and Pilot Run events In addition to creating tools and jigs for new and existing products to mitigate safety risks and increase productivity. Responsibilities also include assisting with troubleshooting production and post sales quality issues through root cause analysis, and determining temporary and long term engineering solutions.

The Project Engineer role has the responsibility of managing all NPD and Sustaining Engineering projects to ensure continuous successful launches of new and improved products. Included are meetings with every department for updates of progress to provide the executive board with communication of project timelines. The Project Engineer position is also given leadership of the company’s core team meetings where representatives from each department collaborate to provide process improvement for new product launch processes. This role acts as lead or backup engineer for NPD and sustaining engineering projects by creating parts, assembly, and drawings in SolidWorks, which are then prototyped using milling, CNC plasma cutting and 3D printing. In addition, coordination of DFMA and pilot run events are executed to ensure that all new products are designed, manufactured, and assembled safely with ease of production.

The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer was the laizen between Design Engineering, Production, and Product Management. This included providing feedback to the design team on DFMA concepts as well as developing assembly, testing, and packaging processes for new products to meet safety, quality, and service goals. The positions responsibilities were also to coordinate Pilot Run and Kaizen events for new products to test the flow of orders through the factory as well as to develop best assembly practices for standard work instructions. In addition, design and creation of jigs and tooling was executed to assist with manufacturing and assembly. Furthermore, this role troubleshooted issues that arose on the production floor and worked with multiple departments to find solutions. The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer was also a representative for the core team. This included giving updates to the core team on the operational team tasks, as well as helping to make decisions on new product launches and helping to provide the company with updates on projects.
