Music, an almost lifetime hobby pursued via DJ'ing in local venues including Tiffanys in the late 70's early 80's up to the late "noughties" at The Baths Hall and Wortley House Hotel, which is where I picked up a microphone for the first time in the "Jigsaw" disco with Kaleidoscope Discotheque Enterprises in 1973.

 Day shift electrical maintenance and installation at Medium Section Mill, B.S.C. Scunthorpe where I commenced and completed my Electrical Installation Training, after achieving Distinctions in C&G 236 Pts1&2 and passing AM1&2.;16th Ed. Regs. British Sugar York and other sites including, B.P. Hull., British Gas. Easington and Huntingdon., British Sugar Newark and Brigg.,Conoco, Road Loading, Immingham. Blast Furnace Rebuild Project, British Steel Scunthorpe.

Scunthorpe

Reporting to the Managing Director, responsible for HR and administration of all financial aspects on a daily basis, from credit and debit accounts to payroll, job costing, financial planning and forecasting. Implemented computerised accounting systems utilising Sage Financial Controller integrated accounts/payroll/job costing software.Successfully represented the company at an Industrial Tribunal for unfair dismissal claim and also against HCC.Initially employed in the transport division then transferred to the heavy industrial cleaning and toxic/asbestos waste removal and disposal where I progressed to a team leader working for many local authorities and nhs hospitals incl. Kings College, UCH, Roehampton, Dulwich, Springfield, St. Marys, St. Thomas, Humberside CC, Pilkington Glass, IMI Walsall, Kirklees before transferring to sales and accounts.

Brigg

 Reporting to area sales manager, responsible for personnel, stock control, sales, deliveries and display. Sales Assistant, Scunthorpe Branch, responsible for credit and cash sales, display, receiving account payments and customer service requirements. Delivery Driver, delivering and installing brown and white goods to customers premises also repossessions and debt collection.

 Working as a Semi-Skilled Maintenance Hand (Mechanical) for the Outside Services Dept maintaining /refurbishing pumps and compressors. Trained as a plater in apprentice training workshops and North Lindsey Technical College where I achieved a Distinction in Fabrication and Welding Pt.1.
