As an artist with a passion for video games and animation, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communications with a minor in Visual Arts from The University of Texas at Dallas. I have taken courses in digital animation, illustration, video game art design, and 3D modeling. I have honed my skills in draftsmanship and art fundamentals, including perspective, anatomy, and environmental design. My experience includes digital art, environmental art, traditional pencil art, storytelling, oil painting, sketching, asset cleanup, sprite art, rigging, and graphic design. I am proficient in various software such as Microsoft Office, Clip Studio Paint, Toon Boom Harmony, Maya, Blender, Photoshop, Unreal Engine, and Unity, as well as programming languages such as Python and C#. I am a member of the Animation Guild, Pre-Production Collab, and a former president of The Drawing Sessions. Some of my notable projects include a 14-second long animation in Toon Boom Harmony, a seven-second animation in CSP, a comic based on characters from the Splatoon IP, an animatic for a 2D-animated personal project, an ongoing animatic project for a half-hour long cartoon, and a two-minute animatic of a fight scene between two original characters. Currently, I am working part-time at Follett Corporation and references are available upon request. I am constantly working to improve my skill set and am interested in summer internship opportunities as I explore my career path in the animation or video game industry.
