Mike is a Certified Environmental Practitioner and Project Manager with over 30 years' experience.He has provided environmental impact assessment, sustainability and project management advice on complex infrastructure projects in Australia and overseas. In addition to his significant contribution to the mining, natural gas and pipeline sectors, Mike is well-recognised for his extensive experience in coastal and maritime resource management.Prior to joining CNC Project Management in 2010, Mike was a Sectional Director at the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and an Environmental Risk Manager at Procom Consultants. Mike was also selected for an international secondment as Environmental Manager for Sino Gold's Jinfeng Project, China’s third biggest gold mine.Mike continues to represent Australia at international forums on resource management and has authored ‘how to’ manuals on elements of impact assessment and environmental management. In 2014, CNC Project Management was awarded a national environmental award by the Australian Pipeline and Gas Association (APGA), for its innovative 'Back of the Ute' soil test procedure. Mike was instrumental enabling CNC to secure this award.
