I also advise on Pensions Regulator and Pension Protection Fund issues, scheme mergers, benefit changes, windings up and disputes, as well as more routine scheme documentation and maintenance issues.I also advise clients on pensions litigation where I work in tandem with my litigation colleagues. Work ranges from applications to the Court for directions or orders for rectification of scheme documents to disputes with members. I have a particular specialism in acting for representative beneficiaries in Part 8 applications. Recently reported cases include acting for the UK subsidiary of Olympus on a claim relating to trustee and directors duties and for representative beneficiaries in the Court of Appeal (Gleeds) and the High Court (Hogg Robinson) on defective changes.
