Over the last few years my role at Boeing as a System Engineer the most interesting scope of my work is helping technology and early design phase engineers understand the realities of production. Other areas of my work role has been to 1) provide special senior advisor business case and program management analyst services, 2) lead production system research projects, and 3) evaluate manufacturability and affordability of new airplane technology concepts. This work is done with unique data research methods and the use of concurrent set based analysis models that integrate design, manufacturing, and cost. When I discover a team that needs to better understand how the design and manufacturing process relate to improve quality and safety I research the data, arrange on-site facility tours and connect engineering with manufacturing.My roles on projects has ranged from system engineering analyst, cost estimator, project lead, and program office management. The range of experiences has been beneficial in developing skills to lead cross-functional teams with wide varieties of technologies and customers.This overall time frame includes my total work experience including Rockwell North American Aircraft and McDonnell Douglas because they merged into one company.
