My name is Michael Castro, and I am a software developer at Elisa Oy, the market leader in telecommunications and digital services in Finland.I have a bachelor's degree in business information technology from Laurea University of Applied Sciences, where I graduated in 2022. I also have a nursing degree from Far Eastern University, which I obtained in 2009. I switched to web development when I was 28 years old, because I have always been fascinated by computers and technology. I have experience in developing web applications using various technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node, MongoDB, Express, TypeScript, Nest, Next and AWS. I love learning new things and keeping up with the latest trends and best practices in web development. I am also proficient in Filipino, English, and intermediate skill in Finnish languages. My goal is to create user-friendly, secure, and scalable web solutions that meet the needs and expectations of the clients and the users. I enjoy working with diverse and collaborative teams, where I can contribute to the success of the projects and the organization.
