Since 2002 I had worked in a very busy local Government IT Department, that has always strived to be ahead in terms of advances in technology, working practices, improvements to services provided, accreditation, and adopted a Cloud first strategy early on as technology advanced. In the time I have been here it has been ranked as one of the most efficient council IT Departments in the country. I had progressed from Senior IT Production Analyst, Senior IT Principal Analyst and finally as Technical Operations Architect for Platforms & Live Systems, responsible for managing a team of several employees as we managed change & release, problem management and worked collaboratively through DevOps methodology to deliver the best possible services to our customers, with efficient and cost-effective processes. I Joined MicroFocus in December 2022, where my primary skillsets and historical knowledge of Micro Focus products Enterprise Server, and Enterprise Developer have assisted my transition. Throughout my career I have been eager to learn, and improve my understanding as technology advances – MicroFocus – Now OpenText have provided that pathway to learning, innovation and improvement.
