My practice focuses on appellate advocacy, which includes advising clients on the strengths and weaknesses of their legal arguments, appellate options, and dispositive-motion practice in trial courts. My expertise is in legal research and brief writing. I have represented clients on a wide variety of civil-litigation matters, including professional malpractice, corporate shareholder/partner disputes, contractual indemnity, business torts, the uniform commercial code, and general liability.

Counsel on appeals to the Michigan Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. Represented clients in state and federal matters involving detailed research, pre-trial motion practice and discovery in a wide range of commercial litigation subject matters, including class action liability, the foreign corrupt practices act, business torts, fiduciary liability, breach of contract, real property foreclosure, UCC claims, insurance litigation, and landlord-tenant disputes. Represented clients as second-chair trial counsel.

Researched and drafted opinions and various memoranda, including recommendations on applications for leave to appeal, internal Court memoranda, and bench briefs for oral arguments, on civil and criminal matters.
