• Initially, I started as a regular sales rep for a few months. Then I was promoted to Internet manager and IT over the Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, and Hyundai line. In 2010 was asked to oversee facilities and IT as well. In 2014 I was asked to be a Business Development manager as well as handle IT and Facilities. I handle everything from Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Carpentry, Masonry etc. For the entire Facility. Its never a dull day and sometimes I am even a Graphic Designer and make artwork for Ads, T-Shirts, Banners etc. In Feb 2016 was asked to oversee all KPA OSHA regulations when AutoNation took over. Currently, I maintain the Facility and make sure that we are OSHA compliant in every Aspect. I make sure and coordinate with all the outside vendors and over the years have maintained a strong relationship with them. I have steady hours but am on call if needed at any time if there is a problem. I understand what needs to be done in case of emergencies and what it takes to keep a facility running and safe such as fire code regulations such as sprinklers and extinguishers. What a normal day of work for me varies but I really just walk my facility every day and check with everyone to see if they noticed any issues I might have missed or need assistance with. I don’t have to be told what to do because I just do what needs to be done to keep our associates happy and safe.My professional experience is in Auto Sales. And my goals are to sell cars and start relationships with my clients. Maintaining and monitoring of all IT related issues on premises is my largest duty. From all things as simple as setting up a printer to repairing a computer. From time to time I will have to call in the big dog from corporate but we can handle most everything over the phone fairly quickly. I also take care of anything that needs repair on premises. My position is really tough to explain because if there is something needed in any dept. for whatever reason I usually get the call. I work directly for the G.M. to make his life a little easier from changing light bulbs to designing t-shirts for promotions. Since I have been doing this I have been able to save the company thousands of dollars over the years just by simply consolidating the printers and when the pros had to be called like electricians or plumbers I paid attention as to what they were doing and asked questions and am at the point that something that normally would cost 250.00 for a plumber to come in now would cost an avg of 30.00 for me to buy a part and repair. In the Maintenance aspect of my job I make sure that all things in the Facility run smoothly and we maintain our OSHA Standards such as eve wash stations fire suppression systems alarms and extinguishers. If something breaks I am called upon to fix it from something as small as a clogged toilet to a leaky roof.

Upon meeting the client, we would proceed to choose a vehicle and obtain financing if necessary once negotiations of the sales figures were final. My other duties would include making sure that the online inventory was up to date with pricing and photos taken from our outside vendor (East Texas Autos). I would have to make sure to price every car individually and twice a week would remove and vehicles that were sold from the system as well. I also have set up the computers to the network manually by putting the right configurations for the IP, DNS, and Gateways etc. In this store, they required manual configuration on each terminal. The Set up of access points, wireless routers and wired routers was another one of my duties as well as anything that is IT related in the entire store.
