Recent student athlete graduate from the University of Maine at Orono with a B.S. in biochemistry. My undergraduate work has peaked my interest in understanding the biological route at which pollutants deemed nontoxic can bioaccumulate and pose larger biological risks than first perceived. I hope for my work in the future to help hold companies responsible for polluting environments and populations accidental or not. While also setting stricter testing for long term exposure and build up of chemicals before they are commercialized.
