The Director Merchandising Execution is the primary support for driving the localization and activation of profitable sales opportunities. This role also works closely with the Operations team reviewing ordering processes, scheduling and other KPIs that influence the ability deliver profitable well merchandised stores holistically throughout the assigned market.

Responsible for department sale, merchandising and performance profitability for over 135 stores in the Center Market( Ct, Western Mass, Duchess/Orange and Westchester Counties. Provide and co-develop plans with Central Merchandising. Support agreed upon merchandising strategy to achieve sales budget and profit goals including pricing, merchandising, special promotions, assortment and advertising. To work closely with all DSD vendor partners to execute and achieve desired goals. Lead, Direct and Coach 8 field merchandising managers. Work closely with the Operations Team to ensure agreed upon execution of merchandising strategy.

Provide leadership and direction for the total operation of a district comprised of twelve locations. Responsible for achieving maximum sales and profitability, manage all lines on the profit and loss statement, monitoring overall store conditions and operational compliance, minimizing inventory loss and fostering an envirnoment that provides excellent customer service. Provide leadership and direction to more than 1800 associates on a consistent basis; partner with Human Resources to resolve associate/union issues and identify candidates for future growth opportunities. To work closely with the Sales Field Team to identify/address all sales and profit opportunities. Communicate with senior management on a consistent basis; train and develop store management teams to promote an efficient well motivated work environment
