CPB, John Holland, Ghella JV - Sydney Metro II Tunnel and Station Excavation. Within this role, I have been able to collaborate and communicate with all building and construction professionals, such as engineers and designers, to assist in our performance as a team and focuses on the final result.I have been able to utilise my effective communication skills by presenting a specific instruction in tackling the 5 x 7-meter diameter TBM machine builds, launches, excavation and Demobilisation across the TBM & station sites on the Project. This experience allowed me to contribute in the development and implementation of practice excellence strategies and tactical execution that meet organisational goals and objectives. I have been able to oversee the operations at the construction sites from planning to completion of machine build, maintenance and demobilization, while overseeing all mechanical activities and tasks, and ensuring the safety and compliance of the mechanical teams on all sites.This role has allowed me to grow exponentially, furthering management skill-sets in a major organisation, where I have utilised a truly holistic management skill-set to provide continuous outcomes with regularity.

CPB, Dragados, Samsung Joint Venture. WestConnex Tunnels. New M5 / M8 Project This position allowed me to manage the Mechanical activities at the St. Peters construction site on the New M5 motorway Tunnel, and work with industry-specific and high complex precision machines including but not limited to 6 x SLB300Sg Mitsui Road Header’s, drill rigs, shotcrete rigs and all associated machinery involved with the excavation of the twin tunnels from St. Peter’s to Arncliffe. I was able to contribute to the success of the organisation, by working in conjunction with Manager to prepare reports, findings and evaluations of work progress, and complete daily reports and submit to the appropriate official.My wider understanding of both the business and the industry meant that I was able to manage assigned projects, including overseeing field operations, general safety, as well as subordinates’ productivity and quality of work, while coordinating with other superintendent and project leaders on the jobsite.I was able to demonstrate my leadership ability through training and mentorship of new mechanical foreman – mentoring & assisting them in OH&S and Tunneling practices, while directing and coordinating the maintenance, repair, innovation and mechanical operations of the project.This role has contributed largely for future excellence in delivering mechanical management, and an increased skill-set that I will carry into future roles.
