Conducts strategic and operational planning for the employment of joint assets, airspace management, aero medical evacuation, standardization and safety for XVIII Airborne Corps, the Army's strategic rapid deployment Corps with 43,000 Soldiers assigned in four Divisions, one Expeditionary Sustainment Command and nine separate brigades. Responsible for developing flexible aviation plans which allow XVIII Airborne Corps to operate throughout the full spectrum of operations. Responsible for providing guidance and subject matter expertise on airfield management, joint airspace command and control procedures, and aviation force structure. Provides senior operational level interface between U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) and subordinate Combat Aviation Brigades.

Responsible for the integration of Army Aviation assets into an Infantry Brigade Combat Team's operations. Plan, coordinate and resource air assaults, air movements, aerial reconnaissance, ISR, close combat attack and security missions. Manage and integrate unmanned aerial systems into the Brigade's Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance plan. Manage all airspace control measures below the coordinating altitude across a 9,000 square mile area or operations.

Attack Helicopter Battalion Operations officer responsible for the implementation of the battalion's training guidance and policies or all U.S. Army AH-64D and OH-58D(R) undergraduate and graduate flight instruction; resource and coordinate training of 159 Soldiers and 82 Department of the Army Civilians; executes daily operations of Hanchey Army Heliport; the base for 117 attack and armed reconnaissance helicopters and track records for all battlaion flight hours for weekly updates; compile and prepare all battalion presentations for biweekly command and staff meetings as well as produce, publish and assist in operating a $28 million gunnery range complex and ensure accurate budget formulation and management for more than 800 students annually; assist the Battalion Training Officer in forecasting an ammunition budget of $41 million.

Hanchey Army Heliport, Fort Rucker Al

Attack Helicopter Battalion Adjutant responsible for managing all personnel actions for 143 Soldiers and 109 Department of the Army Civilians. Responsible for the review and on time submission of evaluation reports for 109 Officers, 52 Department of the Army Civilians and 6 Non Commissioned Officers, as well as PCS and impact awards. Manages all assigned personnel against TDA allowances and monitors battalion personnel strength. Manages battalion duty rosters for installation and brigade level duties. Represents the battalion commander in official correspondence and supports the chain of command. Supervises the battalion Human Resources Section, including one Department of the Army Civilian and one Non Commissioned Officer. Additionally serve as an AH-64D Apache Longbow Instructor Pilot responsible for instructing and evaluating both U.S. and foreign students in all modes of flight.

Attack Helicopter Company Commander deployed to Al Basra Air Station, Iraq conducting combat operations in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 07-10. Responsible for the training, moral, and welfare of 16 Officers and 18 Enlisted personnel. Responsible for the operational readiness and employment of eight AH-64D Apache Longbow Attack Helicopters and associated ground support equipment valued in excess of $235 million. Responsible for the development and supervision of aircrew training for 18 Aviators while conducting daily combat missions over Iraq. Additionally serve as an AH-64D Instructor Pilot responsible for instructing and evaluating Aviators within the Battalion.
