Vice President Of Conservation And Collections
CurrentAs the VP of Conservation and Collections at San Antonio Botanical Gardens I oversee the Garden's conservation programs - primarily focusing on building botanical diversity throughout the garden by increasing our living collections. Targeted interests include: the Rare Plants of Texas; Oaks of Western Texas, Southwest US and Mexico; and the Woody Legumes of Texas.Bringing over twenty years experience in plant conservation to the garden, I manage and lead conservation programs that further the mission of San Antonio Botanical Garden. Through partnerships with organizations in Texas, throughout the US, and into Mexico, my aim is to establish the Garden as an enduring leader in plant conservation in Texas, and in the US, and continue to be a voice for the conservation and use of native plants.
