About Michael Ewing
I began my career pursuing Geophysical Engineering because it provided an applied purpose for the aspects of the mathematics, physics, and computer science fields that I enjoyed. As I continued at CSM I had the opportunity to work with several outreach and continuing education programs. I found the pull toward education and my interests in emerging technology to be a solid foundation for an enjoyable career path.After a few years of lecturing undergrad and grad courses, some of my former students contacted me with challenges and the obvious differences in academic verses marketable software development. I decided to take an opportunity with a small geophysics company to broaden my experience in the business side of software development. This decision lead to further opportunities for me to apply and broaden my technical understanding, leadership, design, and management skills across all aspects of the software life cycle. I oversaw the technical implementation and design of Landmark's industry-changing Dynamic Frameworks to Fill system.
