I am very passionate about Track and Field and want to coach athletes that at a higher level. I currently coach at Coginchaug Regional high school, a small school in Connecticut, but I have been shaping a strong program with some national caliber athletes.I have a USATF Level 2 Certification in Sprints, Hurdles, and relays, but I have also coached many distance, throwing, and jumping events. I was a division II track athlete at Southern Connecticut State University, and primarily focused on the 400 and ­800. My experience as an athlete was dominated by amazing coaches, who both at the high school and college level built programs with many conference and regional championships. I understand that Track and Field is not all about winning, and I am a big proponent of developing a strong team dynamic. Track and Field is sometimes mistaken for a sport of individuals, but I like to encourage relationships that will foster team growth. While my competitive running days are far, far behind me, I have honed my coaching skills over the past several years with the hope to move forward with collegiate level track and field.
