As a senior captain with thousands of hours on another airplane type I was once asked if I would become a first officer”Co-pilot” again to fly a 747 internationally. To which I replied that “ I was a captain and my own boss on a single engine prop Cessna for thousands of hours. I knew every rivet of that airplane and the area I flew it, but if that was going to be the end of my learning in aviation then I have failed myself”
