Never stop learning. From leadership, senior chiefs, Junior first officers or my employees. Our training has always been about CRM common goal mindset, not ego. Our experience is literary measured and logged in hours and being well over 10000 I can tell you one thing. Even though the mission remains the same “safe a-b flight of an aircraft” the learning never stops. I apply the same technique to my start ups and company leadership. As a senior captain with thousands of hours on another airplane type I was once asked if I would become a first officer”Co-pilot” again to fly a 747 internationally. To which I replied that “ I was a captain and my own boss on a single engine prop Cessna for thousands of hours. I knew every rivet of that airplane and the area I flew it, but if that was going to be the end of my learning in aviation then I have failed myself”
