Director within a small construction company in charge of up to 20 different sub contractors. Managing the delivery of every aspect of production.• Liaising with Architects, client and local authority Building Control.• Constructing within accordance with building control and architects specifications• Ensuring efficient use of all resources including application of quality supervision and communication regime of labour/subcontractors and materials• Ensuring all sub contractors adhere to the required standard and specification.• Ensuring a culture of safety is embedded within the team.• Planning and coordination of all sub contractors• Calculating, ordering and scheduling of materials • Dealing with the general public• Completing tax returns, providing estimates of proposed work, providing detailed invoices, keeping computerised records such as books, paid and unpaid invoices and monitoring of budgets.

After serving my time, I joined a sub contracting firm and performed 1st & 2nd fix joinery, progressing to traditional and truss roofing joinery.Working on a variety of different construction types including, timber framed and traditional build. Within the latter years of my time spent on site, I adopted a foreman role which entailed supervision responsibilities, ordering of materials and programming with Site Managers

Served 3.5 years as an Apprentice Joiner at various construction sites across Liverpool and the surrounding areas, attaining an NVQ level 3 in Carpentry/Joinery.
