In a career spanning over two decades, I have journeyed through the intricate landscape of military operations, strategic planning, and team leadership. My story is one of dedication, resilience, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. As a seasoned military veteran, I have honed my skills in operations management, logistics oversight, and organizational development, leading diverse teams and managing substantial resources.As I progressed through the ranks, I assumed greater responsibilities, eventually becoming the Senior Operations & Communications Manager for the Georgia Army National Guard. In this role, I directed daily operations for an organization with 3,500 personnel spread across 28 locations. My days were filled with coordinating technical inspections, managing financial resources, and ensuring the seamless operation of supply chains. Managing a $5M payroll and a $300K travel budget, I optimized resource allocation and financial oversight, ensuring that every dollar was spent wisely and efficiently.One of the highlights of my career was overseeing $50M in communications equipment. Crafting contingency communication plans and managing a mobile device program for 130 devices were critical tasks that required precision and foresight. My team of 30 cross-functional members was instrumental in driving strategic alignment and operational excellence, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.At Fort Stewart, GA, as the Senior Communications Manager, I managed advanced communication systems and led a team of over 20 personnel. Here, I developed information service policies and managed a comprehensive maintenance program for $700M worth of communications equipment. One of my proudest achievements was saving the State of Georgia $80K by utilizing government satellites instead of private civilian satellite access. Outside of work gardening is one of my favorite pastimes, I also have a strong commitment to animal welfare with LC Paws, INC. I also enjoy the camaraderie and support found in my memberships with the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.As I look to the future, I am excited about the possibilities ahead.
