Designing, implementing and optimizing security and networking solutions is my wheelhouse. My focus is in deploying technology that improves efficiency and performance. Customer service is at the forefront of my work. Helping the user experience by providing and supporting systems that deliver a secure and user friendly environment.I interpret network technology. Security appliances, IPS/IDS solutions, firewalls, switches, wireless access points and gateways span the gamut. However, they all align with the OSI model for function and purpose. This is my approach to networking technology.I have deployed networks from conception to production. Starting with defining infrastructure, IP subnets and services to sizing networking equipment to support future growth, coordinating installations of ISP services, configuring and interconnecting the network stack, deploying ethernet and wireless services and finally validating the deployment. Discovering malware threats and remediating how they exploit vulnerabilities is a fulfilling process. I have coordinated the deployment of security solutions from sales to proof of concept and implementation. I led a security team to improve incident response and disaster recovery plans, run through a security tabletop exercise, deploy penetration testing and remediate threats and vulnerabilities identified through security audits.Email security and cyber hygiene are key factors in reducing an attack surface area. I have deployed and administered multiple email security solutions, analyzed social engineered threats delivered through email and launched security awareness training and phishing campaigns.
