I am a plant ecologist managing bushland restoration contracts and biosecurity projects with RCC. I specialise in aquatic and terrestrial weed eradication and containment and play a key role in the regions Biosecurity Working Group. I have a Diploma in Project Management, as well as experience in the roles of environmental policy advisor and environmental assessment of development applications.At University, I was able to complement background in Laboratory Quality Assurance with a post study summer project involving laboratory work on Pacific island plant taxonomy and genomics. I have a strong interest in botanical taxonomy of weeds and native species and often upload sightings to citizen science projects on Atlas of Living Australia.
