Berea College offers a unique experience where every student is required to work a labor position at the school as well as attend classes. The Facilities Storeroom contains all the electrical/wiring, plumbing, tools, and cleaning supplies that employees might need in order to complete work orders or cleaning duties around the college. My current duties include: Checking-in the delivery of products to storeroom. Labeling each new item with the correct storeroom number and placing it in the right location to create ease in finding it later.Completing deliveries of cleaning supplies to different residence halls across campus in the company van. Double-checking to ensure delivered supplies match order forms submitted to the Storeroom. Manually entering supplies into Berea College software to make sure each work order is properly assigned and charged the cost of supplies used to remedy the work order.2021-Present

Working remotely with Accudraws LLC based in Hendersonville, NC. Accudraws is contracted out through banks to create baselines and checkpoints for builders as they build new houses. Accudraws inspects these houses in progress to make sure the expectations of the bank are met and the money loaned for construction is being used properly. My current duties include:Completing inspections and generating reports- After an Accudraws driver visits a project site, they take pictures of everything on the site. I examine the pictures and generate excel and word sheets to send as reports for the bank that can properly describe progress of the house and recommend money to be disbursed.Communication- As a representative of Accudraws, I communicate with banks to attain information such as house appraisals and building plans to build excel sheets that properly disburse building plan cost estimates into an easy-to-read chart that can visually describe completion of buildings.

At 17, I started at my local Five Guys as an employee. Expectations included food prep in the mornings. Employees were responsible for cutting vegetables and hand pressing the meat into patties. All food items were to be properly dated and labeled. During business hours, one was expected to prepare food in a timely manner, keep areas clean and sanitary, and creating a friendly environment for customers. I quickly established myself as a reliable and hard worker. At the age of 19, I became the youngest manager in the district. As a manager/shift lead, I still completed the same tasks with my employees while also being responsible for designating employee’s daily tasks, creating a team environment, training new employees and handling the money/bank deposits at the end of shifts.
