Contract AdministratorQueensland Alumina Limited Oct 2023 - PresentGladstone, Queensland, Australia- Provide contractual advice and guidance to Project teams.- Draft and co-ordinate all formal correspondence under the contract.- Support the Project Lead by leading and maintaining Contractor relationships and make recommendations to the business in out of the ordinary commercial circumstances.- Assist in mitigating project risks through pro-active management of the Contractor and administration of the Contract.- Perform updates to internal Procurement and Contracts registers.- Co-ordination with Project Controls (Planners and Cost Controllers) to provide support in analysis of claims and to ensure budgets and forecasts are accurately maintained by those functions.- Co-ordinating review, evaluation, response and approvals of Contract Progress, Payment Variation and Delay claims (providing commercial reviews of all claims).- Chairing weekly Contractor progress meetings, recording and distributing minutes.- Receive Contractor Progress Reports and co-ordinate feedback on key concerns so that they can be managed under the Contract and discussed in progress meetings (Contractor reports should include a register of approved changes and a potential change register).- Recording dayworks dockets, matching to directions and contract changes, in addition to cross checking dayworks against claims. - Co-ordination, review and registering of Site Instructions, and raising associated Variations where necessary.- Variation and EOT management – It is everyone’s responsibility to ensure Variations/PVRs are approved prior to proceeding with a change (including acceleration). It is imperative to understand cost and schedule impacts and perform an analysis before obtaining the necessary approvals and commencing a change to Works.- Ensure that the Contractor understands the Companies administration expectations at the commencement of work, in addition to ensuring the Contractor continues to deliver the administrative/project management requirements throughout the duration. -

Allowing for current capture of costs against the city’s assets.• Creating modifications in collaboration with relevant supervisor, where goods or requirements have changed on site. Therefore, purchase orders need to be modified before the invoice is processed to be paid. -
