I was a team leader of my high school's FRC team, team 2028 the Phantom Mentalists. I was responsible for leading a sub-team with the task of designing, manufacturing, and testing a major subsystem of our team's competition robot. I devoted much of my time after school to teach newer team members important design and fabrication methods, and guide small groups through the engineering process of designing a component to be used on the robot. During competition weekends, I have functioned as the lead mechanic in the pit area, and have also been the designated driver of the robot, in charge of strategizing with allies for each match and executing the plan on the field. Lastly, I have been the primary public relations representative for our team, responsible for talking about our team outreach and robot design at each event. During my 4 years on the team, we have recieved over 6 awards, including the engineering excellence award, industrial design award, and people's choice award to name a few.
