Each school year brought a complete turnover of all other TAs but me, meaning that I held the responsibility of maintaining consistency across school years and helping onboard new TAs annually.• Led weekly discussion sections of 25 students, reviewing a scholarly article related to coursework.• Graded thousands of exams questions and dozens of term papers—policy memos and research papers.• Acted as point person for website design, updated course page, sent announcements, uploaded readings.(Served as undergraduate teaching assistant for first three years in this position; promoted to graduate assistant in 2023)

Summer Research Intern on the NASA ABoVE (Arctic-Boreal Vulnerability Experiment) Campaign. Project entails completing a data fusion project using at least two or more of NASA's airborne (lidar, radar, hyperspectral) and optical imagery data sets. My research aims to address questions pertaining to environmental changes in northern regions, with a focus on climate vulnerability.

Campus Forest Carbon Project: multi-year project housed in the Department of Geographical Sciences, supervised by Dr. George Hurtt and Dr. Rachel Lamb, that uses remote sensing data to estimate carbon stocks on UMD campus and around the state. In this role, I:• Produced geographic visualizations of carbon stocks, incorporating aboveground biomass, carbon sequestration potential, and forest gains and losses to be presented internally and to stakeholder groups.• Utilized Python script to produce updated data with newer versions of the remote sensing product.• Delivered presentations to stakeholders and student groups in order to advertise project advancements.• Worked closely within a small team to allocate tasks & coordinate smaller parts of cumulative projects. • Reported weekly to several supervisors, updating on progress and suggesting future tasks for the project.

Social science survey conducted by Dr. C. Boules and Dr. K. Tully aimed at identifying nutrient groups deficient in the diets of food aid recipients in Columbia Heights, DC. In this role, I: • Input qualitative dietary survey data into R-script application created by graduate student on the project.• Coordinated with fellow undergrad researcher in order to uphold the integrity of our data. To convert qualitative survey results into quantitative nutrient amounts, I had to work closely with my research partner, logging all size, quantity, and food type assumptions in MS Excel for the sake of consistency.• Processed Spanish-language responses exclusively, both improving and employing my Spanish skills.
