I am a graphic design major, with a strong eye for color and typography. I am skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign and am enlightened in both print and web design. I am an intent individual, eager to do an excellent job and get it accomplished on time!In 2015, I graduated Rutgers-Camden with a B.A. in Graphic Design. Three years prior, I graduated from Burlington County College with an A.A. in Liberal Arts. From late 2013 to mid-2014, I gained WordPress experience with the editing and updating of the Rutgers Fine Arts blog and Riverside Township website. I added photographs, paragraphs,alt-text, and documents.Feb. 2014:-Created debut website for Baker's Boat Works, Vermont-based boating company of computer-illiterate family friends.-Became layout artist for Rutgers-Camden newspaper, The Gleaner; in April, I designed the front page of an issue about school elections to look like a voting ballot. In Aug. 2015, I got a temporary job at HazTek, Inc. as a PowerPoint editor for their safety class presentations. I revised the color of texts, altered some typefaces, and added slide transitions. From Mar. 2016 to Aug. 2018, I was a cashier at Lowe's, working regular registers and self-checkout. Notably, self-checkout ended up being the only register open on the front end most of the time, causing me to handle long lines of customers, often with enormous purchases, both at the self-checkouts and nearby register! On Oct. 1, 2016, I published my portfolio website DoorJam Creations using Wix. I continue to update my website with not just self-initiated graphic design work, but with other material.Links:-http://www.doorjamcreations.com/-http://www.behance.net/FelidaeMaxima-Twitter: @DoorJamCs-Deviantart: Foolish-Water-YouTube: LordOfTheBoxes12Skills:-Photoshop-Illustrator-InDesign-Microsoft Word-PowerPoint-Excel-Logo Design-HTML-CSS-Wix-WordPress-Print Layout-Web Design

I handled tender transactions at both regular registers and the self-checkout machines and, whenever I had a closing shift, I needed to check the surrounding area to make sure it was tidy. Most of the time, for whatever reason, the self-checkout machines were the only registers open on the front end. I worked hard to take care of customers at both the self-checkout machines and the nearby regular register as the line would get lengthier and help would take an absurdly long time to arrive. Some customers had larger items that self-checkout wouldn't be suitable for.

A month-long temporary job where I had to utilize my knowledge of PowerPoint in order to clean up the company's presentations for their safety classes. I added animations, changed colors, and altered typefaces in order to make the presentations more visually interesting for the classes.
For job experience and no pay, I listened to assigned sections of episodes to the "Harry Potter" podcast. After listening, I had duplicate my assigned section into HTML format on Notepad to be published later online. The most recent episode of "Alohomora!" (as of this writing) is listed in the media below.

As part of the Federal Work Study program this term, I had to make sure all the printers and computers were functioning throughout the Fine Arts Building.I had to make sure the printers had ink and lacked paper jams so that my fellow students could print assignments and other school material. I also had to make sure that whatever computers in the animation lab were rendering projects for the animation students remained undisturbed.

I was the layout artist for the Rutgers-Camden newspaper "The Gleaner." While not a paying position, it did give me a chance to use my gaining InDesign knowledge to organize the text and images of the newspaper to published for students.Notably, I contributed to a visually interesting front page for the Spring 2014 school elections, where it resembled a voting ballot (the first link listed).

An unpaid volunteer action I did over the summer of 2014, where I cleaned up my town's website on WordPress by adding town meeting schedules and placing photographs onto the site.I also had to reproduce many township papers into Microsoft Word.

I worked for no pay at the Riverside Historical Society cleaning up historical items, like posters in a case, and organizing other material, like newspaper clippings. This is to make the content suitable for public exhibition and viewing.

Another Federal Work Study job where I had to add pictures and alt-text, as well as reorganize and update some more content (such as events), for the new Rutgers-Camden Fine Arts blog published by WordPress.

I served as an assistant to the Rutgers-Camden Fine Arts department as a Federal Work Study job. I sat at the desk answering and aiding people on the telephone as well as helping out people who needed it at the window.I also had to re-organize all of the slides in the nearby Art Library Room into alphabetical order. That part of the job was rather tedious, but I persevered through, trying my hardest to organize the slides.
