As an Engagement Manager I was responsible for all engagements with my customers, while also being responsible for the services revenue. I Lead the sales and business development efforts for broad range of consulting services, such as implementation delivery of industry solutions, standalone services for analytics, modeling, reporting and data management services, IT administration support and managed services, deployment support and management, business consulting and analytics advisory.

As Head of EMEA Resource Management i was leading several local resource managers and setting up processes for sharing consultants cross borders. I also established a taskforces to deal with specific customers and products.Basically implemented what was done in the Nordics in EMEA.

• As the Nordic Resource Manager I have since the beginning of 2016 been regional responsible for the Globalization process SAS Institute HQ initialized late 2015. • I have been running large programs to align the Nordic countries with the globalization process and been Leading the following Initiatives:o New system and processes for allocating resources locally, regionally and globally including the use of new integrated systems for Employee skillso New global systems for pipeline and backlog tracking as well as heading regional solutions for reporting and forecastingo New global time tracking system for all Nordic consultantsThese changes have been implemented in the organization through 30 Professional Services Line Managers, who in this process were responsible to me as Program Manager.Results are obvious, consultants are being utilized both regionally as well as globally resulting in a better revenue, pipeline and backlog are securing that reporting is now data driven and time tracking is now one system instead of 4 different systems.All of these programs have been implemented in time, in good quality and within budget.

As a Business Delivery Manager I worked with Account Executives on strategic customers within the telco industry as well as in the pharmaceutical industry, being responsible for the professional Service side of things. This includes being overall responsible for all projects with these customers (Program Management) and working on additional sales and project initiatives, including qualifying new software, solutions and projects within the customers organization.

• 2013 - 2014 - Managing a large Master Data Management/Data Integration project with a major Pharmaceutical Company • 2014 Overseeing/Directing a large hosting project with the same Pharmaceutical Company• 2012 – 2013 - Managed an International Retail rescue project to ensure Price optimization and optimal Replenishment in a hosted environment. In this project I acted as Program Director.• 2011 – 2012 - Managed an international Credit Risk Management project in Iceland.

In this period I managed the development and implementation process of SAS solutions and products involving departmental and cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products or solutions. I was planning and directing schedules, monitoring budgets and spending, handling of Change Requests from initiation to delivery. Managed the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the projects on schedule and within budget. I managed 9 different solutions/projects with several releases for each solution/product.I was instrumental in adopting Agile (SCRUM) as a project management and development approach in R&D. Today almost 3000 employees in R&D are developing software using Agile.

As a consulting manager I worked with customers within both the public sector as well as the financial sector. Aside from the job as consultant manager I was providing executive management with strategic input, coached my staff and represented the management in meetings. I always stayed abreast (and still do) of trends and requirements in the market by making project assessments, approving assessments from project managers and negotiating project scope and overall contracts with customers. I was in charge of a multi million-dollar budget.

2000 – Managed a Balanced Scorecard project in a large city. Project was delivered on time and budget and the customer signed up for additional assistance and application development.1998 – 2000 – Managed and developed a huge Data Warehouse with intranet reporting for the largest city in Denmark. The project was delivered to the customer’s satisfaction on time and within budget. The customer signed up for additional projects and consultants.

Worked on various SAS projects where the most noticeable one was enabling Cube functionality for a Large Transport Company. This was introduced and presented at the SAS annual conference in Madrid in 1997

Developed an Analytical application to support the corporate division with information and analytics about each customer. Most noticeably was the Margin Contribution report for the account managers.
