Special Education School Counselor
Current• Establish an environment that helps students meet developmental milestones, self-regulation, attention, the ability to sustain engagement, be intentional, develop positive attitudes and a positive sense of self, independence, emotional well-being, and thinking skills.• Provide counseling to students and families. • Manage student caseload and documentation.• Orchestrate Floortime, individual, and group sessions.• Facilitate observations, IEP meetings, and student support meetings.• Create and present social-emotional learning groups.• Support the student and their families relevant to development, services, and treatment plan between the school and district.• Provide staff training as needed.
