About Michael K.

Currently working as a disability analyst, have done since 2017. Working both remotely and face to face to deliver quality and client centred assessments on behalf of the DWP. I also carry out audit work to ensure quality throughout the business. Furthermore, I am a Clinical Coach (mentor) providing high quality training of new HPs that come into the business. I am a qualified and HCPC registered occupational therapist with knowledge and experience of an array of conditions and client groups including community elderly mental health, community paediatric (physical and LD), acute adult mental health, acute physical health (hospital based) and EMI. I also have six years experience of working with autism spectrum disorders in both children and adults, at varying levels on the spectrum. I have a vested interest in elderly mental and physical health and set up a falls prevention programme in an EMI setting focusing on bone and muscle strengthening, improvement of gait, balance and coordination. I have worked autonomously to assess and devise appropriate and evidenced based interventions which also included environmental assessments and functional mobility.
