Also devised and set up a walking group and an armchair exercise group to complement the falls prevention programme - fully evidenced with in depth research. Studied the different dementias and their effects on the individual. Medicine and Surgery, Sunderland Royal Hospital Effects of vascular disease on functioning/occupational performance. Initial assessments to determine the needs of the individual before deciding best course of action. Environmental assessments needed for some people before being allowed to go home whilst working closely with the MDT.
