I am a customer-centric business support officer focused on delivering great outcomes for customers and colleagues alike. I have over a decade of experience in public administration, working mainly in the fields or Rates/Revenue, Environment, Freedom of Information, Statutory Planning and Local Council Customer Contact Centres.Two key aspects of my professional journey revolves around cultivating collaborative environments and leadership, training, and mentorship. My demonstrated skill and experience includes being a rates team coordinator at Auckland Regional Council, where I played a pivotal role in mentoring and training a team of eight, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability. Additionally, my role as Access to Information Officer at Hornsby Shire Council reflects my commitment to mentorship and training, where I supervised and trained a team of three, achieving 100% positive feedback from all trainees.I am aslo a keen advocate for continuous improvement, contributing to change in three previous roles resulting in implementation of all my suggestions. Currently, I juggle full-time work with full-time study, completing a Bachelors in Business in 2024, underscoring my committment to staying aware of evolving industry trends and expanding my skill set.
