I lead a team of 15 global professionals supporting unique Intel Retirement Programs globally. Our mission is to deliver Intel's Retirement Programs providing Intel employees a path to Financial Independence! Our team ensures that our retirement benefits are market competitive supporting that mission. We influence changes and lead the implementation of changes to evolve those benefits. We develop high quality, sustainable processes to support employees retirement benefit programs. We also ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Recent examples include implementing Intel retirement programs in Poland, adding a competitive match feature in the US, and adding an after-tax contribution feature w/ Roth in-Plan conversion feature in the US.

United States

Oversee the operations to support the various Retirement programs available globally to Intel EEs. Leading a team of ~15 persons.

Led US team of ~12 persons and global extended CBA team in planning, consulting and compliance for various Compensation & Benefits programs, including Cash Compensation, Retirement Benefits, Health & Welfare Benefits and Equity Compensation.Lead Career Development Committee for US Corporate Finance in Oregon.Instruct and develop various Global Accounting training courses.

• Led >50 person global team responsible for accuracy and integrity of intercompany transactions as well as entity by entity financial statements for 150 global entities. • Led Global Accounting team in divestiture of $2B flash memory business and initial design of accounting processes for new entity combining Intel & ST Micro flash business.• Led implementation of FAS 123R Share-Based Compensation (SBC) Accounting covering 100,000 employees in >50 countries and generating >$1 billion annual expense. • Co-led a team of peer Controllers in building strategy & roadmap to transition targeted US accounting activities to Intel Costa Rica Shared Services Center. Such transition generated >$1 million of annual savings for Intel without loss of quality and productivity. 90% of the impacted US employees were placed in ongoing jobs in other groups at Intel.• Led Accounting team in successfully planning & implementing Intel Americas, Inc. entity saving Intel approximately $50 million state income taxes annually.Provided "hot spot" support to External Reporting in Q1 1999 and Q1 2000 on the Annual Report, Form 10-K, Proxy Statement and other quarter/year end responsibilities.Managed 5 person team responsible for compliance to arms length contracts among Intel entities globally. Prior to that managed 6 person team responsible for invoicing intercompany transactions among Intel entities globally.

• Managed Finance integration of several Intel acquisitions and divestitures working with Intel wide cross functional teams. Integration work focused on integrating acquisitions to standard Intel processes and systems helping Intel realize operating synergies and savings. Such integrations included acquistions of two publicly held global companies with > 1,000 employees and multiple legal entities. Divestitures led combined to generate over $600 million in tax benefits for Intel in 2003. • Performed benchmark review and assessment of Europe Finance M&A processes in 2001 leading to improved staffing and transition planning for Europe acquisitions.• Led Sarbanes-Oxley 404 Goodwill and Intangibles compliance implementation team.• Managed Accounting Intern Program 2001 to 2004.

• Led global Legal Entity Review (LER) to assess entity health in relation to Tax, Treasury, Legal and Accounting (TTLA) guidelines.
