Work duties include managing inventory for SKF Bearings in Falconer New York. This entails cycle counts, receiving and stocking of inventory in automated machines. I am also involved in setting min. and max. inventory levels to ensure customer has enough inventory, but not over stocked. I also source inventory for the best possible price, lead time and best quality items so the customer will get the best possible cost savings. I am in contact with engineers, managers and crib attendants so that I can touch base to make sure all is going well. Computer systems used are: AutoCrib, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word as well as SX. I enter computer data daily in both AutoCrib and Excel. I also assist in purchasing of inventory for stock and for emergency spot buys. On a monthly basis I create reports to check for non moving inventory and assist in eliminating items that are no longer needed.

Work duties included: eliminating slow inventory and increasing good Inventory , as well as, invoicing customers, organizing the warehouse, assisting in customer service and cash reconciliation. I also managed all warehouse activities , as well as, assisted purchasing in modifying Inventory. I was responsible for increasing inventory turns by 50 %. I also kept in contact with our credit department and with our customers to help assist in accounts receivable and to help customers stay current with their statement. I was responsible for safety and training all personnel on safety issues. Another duty was to work with vendors for special price agreements and rebates, so we could be more competitive with pricing.

My duties were taking care of all customer orders as well as assisting the inside salesman with quotes. I also worked in the warehouse and assisted in shipping and receiving and cycle counts. I also did quotes for large lighting and electrical projects.
