• Provide recommendations and solutions to FCL organizational leaders, techological teams and business unit analysts.• Provide guidance and technical expertise for all Legacy system transformation work.• Ensure stability of current systems and infrastructure.• work collaboratively with all business units(Supply Chain, Accounting, and Energy) and retails to ensure all work is approved, prioritized and executed in a timely fashion. Legacy systems include Mainframe, Priya, CROH. This includes overseeing approximately 400 tickets monthly.• Review critical custom legacy systems and provide recommendations for continuous improvement, process optimization, risk mitigation and standardization.• Oversee tier 2 support from vendors and maintain strong vendor relationships.• Contribute to projects and operational legacy work by providing technical design build, enhancements, defect resolution, testing support, subject matter expertise and user support as required for all business units.• Provide leadership in vendor contract negotiations.

Customer Support - A key focal point for the client, provides daily client touchpoints, maintains client relationships by email, phone and in-person communication, provides 24/7 escalation point for both internal and client users, participates in client governance meetings, participates in client networking events, approves application changes that are to be implemented on behalf of the client.Account Leadership - Provides account leadership to operations and projects delivery teams, leads delivery teams to maintain contracted deliverables, leads service improvement initiatives, provides analysis and efficiency analysis. Lead teams to provide high standard of ticket quality, provide business analysis and project management support as required, analyse CPU/MSU usage on client’s mainframe and provide recommendations to ensure processing capacity, provide subject matter expertise on client processes and historical business requirements, facilitate planning and training sessions.Management team - Work with internal team of management professionals on service improvement initiatives, provide data analysis for the purpose of contract proposal, forecast resourcing based on client and internal requirements, participate in budgeting and planning activities.Delivery Team Manager - Profile holding manager for 3 application support teams who provide 24/7 support for the client. Screen, interview, and hire resources for site location. Onboard and offboard resources for site location. Provide career development planning for all reporting resources from entry level developers to senior consultants. Provide mentoring, coaching and training to all reporting resources as required.

Maintain all FCL Petroleum applications using the Natural, COBOL, Easytrieve and HTML tools; provide direct frontline petroleum application customer support for several FCL departments including Petroleum Marketing, Logistics, Corporate Accounting, Retail Accounting and CCRL; support and maintain the integrity of petroleum transactions from order time to invoice and billing; fix programs/systems with a high priority when on-call.

Maintained all FCL Petroleum applications using the Natural, COBOL, Easytrieve and HTML tools; provided direct frontline Petroleum application customer support for several FCL departments including Petroleum Marketing, Logistics, Corporate Accounting, Retail Accounting and CCRL; supported and maintained the integrity of Petroleum transactions from order time to invoice and billing; fixed programs/systems with a high priority when on-call.Achievements:- Trained, supervised, and led many different colleagues. The benefit of each of these achievements was the Team Lead and Supervisor experience.- Completed analysis, design, coding, and implementation of FDMS. This system is used to maintain routing information used for invoices, datafiles and reports for customers, retails and FCL users. During the course of this project, I took a Team Lead role and, on separate occasions, delegated and supervised work for 5 different colleagues.

Programmed mainly in Natural and COBOL as well as some Easytrieve and SAS; provided user support of various in-house systems; supported warehouses (with their picking, loading, and shipping of products via the PRIYA warehousing system); fixed programs/systems with a high priority when on-call; attended system meetings and gave system training seminars. Achievements:- Promoted to Applications Programmer/Analyst III – this was beneficial because it increased my workload and responsibility.- Completed all analysis, design, coding, and implementation of TIPS. This is a CICS online messaging system which can be referenced within any Natural online system. The benefit of this is that Home Office users can create a memo to reach customers and internal employees of a specific system the next time they logon to it. After developing TIPS, I conducted training sessions for our entire FCL IT department. The benefit of this project was the experience of seeing it through from start to finish and teaching co-workers how to use it.

Programmed in COBOL, Easytrieve, SAS, and Natural; maintained mainframe security via TSS (Top Secret Security); supported CICS and related products; researched different products in hopes of web-enabling CICS; implemented and tested product upgrades (such as Natural, ADABAS, TSS, SAS, Beta42); Provided user support.

Ensured programs within JCL ran smoothly, data was processed and sorted, and office machinery was in working order; received calls from retail and warehouse users as they needed help with various subjects including printer problems and Telxon ordering; JCL, TSO, Beta42 (scheduler), and Beta93 systems were used on a regular basis.

Programmed in COBOL, Easytrieve, as well as some SAS and Natural; programming was mostly done for the purpose of “Year 2000” conversions.
