As a member of the Creative Design Group at the East Bay Regional Park District, I work along side my team to design, produce, and implement park signage, displays, banners, and print collateral. I am able to blend my passion for the preservation of the wilderness with my love of design. The EBRPD was a big part of my childhood and I am fortunate to make an impact on the future generations visiting the parks.

At Nexgen Packaging I extended my global reach, creating sustainable packaging for the international retail market. I expanded the product portfolio to offer plastic free paper-based solutions. I joined forces with the US, UK, and Asia teams to develop eco-friendly solutions, refine package performance testing, and maximize material usage during production.

I implemented sustainable packaging design through the use of renewable materials, eliminated unnecessary toxic additives, and increased logistics efficiencies. Worked with my team to focus design and production for global expansion.

At Specialized Graphics I managed the in house design, fabrication, and installation teams to implement egress/ADA/ visual signage packages. I ensured plans are up to code while strengthening our clients’ brands through exterior architectural signage, wall graphics, and custom interior fixtures.Within a year I acquired upwards of $500k in new signage projects and presented over 100 signage proposals to prospective General Contractors. It is rewarding to oversee projects from the start of production to the last sign installed.

I was the holiday elf that magically appeared at night to make sure exhibits were gleaming and set to perfection the next morning. I owned design set up and decor for all seasonal holiday exhibits for the Sun Valley Shopping Center. I maintained all visual standards by refurbishing/ restyling exhibit pieces including paint texture matching, surface repair, structural improvements, construction of new set pieces, and replicating replacements.

I am a strong proponent for more earth friendly practices. At GreenHeart Global and Ditto Sustainable Brand Solutions, I allied with creative individuals to provide sustainable solutions for the retail sector. I managed conceptual production, established cost effective manufacturing operations, and improved logistic efficiencies for our clients. Through sustainable package designs, my team was able to increase shipping efficiencies by 23% to support fulfillment of annual orders of 1.5 million units for a global retailer.I led design and fabrication teams to create 8 annual trade show booths to market the company’s services and patented sustainable products to the retail sector.

Education and preservation of the San Francisco Bay is incredibly important to me. It was valuable experience developing educational programs, training park staff on the daily maintenance, and managing the upkeep of the East Bay Regional Park exhibit. I participated in classroom events, specimen collection, cataloging of animal ambassadors, maintenance of aquarium tanks, and improvements to the current exhibits.
