The Mission of Luzzi Case Management Services (LCMS) is to promote independence and to ensure quality of life for individuals with physical and psychological challenges by providing the necessary guidance and resources.

The Mission of the Chicago Fire Department is to protect the lives and property of the people of Chicago when they are put at risk due to fires, natural disasters, emergency medical problems or hazardous material incidents. The Department delivers a variety of emergency medical, fire prevention and public education Initiatives in furtherance of this Mission.

Responsibilities included coordinating and advocating for necessary services for disabled, elderly persons and minors to maximize their overall quality of life; Served various county probate divisions as a court-appointed Guardian of the Person, Guardian of the Estate or Case Manager; Provided ongoing written reports and oral testimony in probate court; Prepared medical budgets to assist Estate Planning Attorneys, Clientele and family members; Created comprehensive care plans and performed disability assessments; Initiated special education services for minors; Specialized in managing care for special needs Clientele suffering from traumatic brain injuries, cerebral palsy, alzheimer's disease and various debilitating mental health conditions.

Duties included advocating and educating at-risk, low-income Wards of the State of Illinois as well as young adults who have emancipated from the legal system in an effort to maximize their self sufficiency; Researched and referred participants to available resources; Provided life planning and general education development (GED) advisement and tutoring; Performed needs assessments and wellness checks for foster youth in poor socioeconomic neighborhoods in Chicago and Chicago's south and southeast suburbs; Empowered participants to use their struggles as internal source of motivation to become successful adults; Guided youth through hardships in life, ultimately leading them into a positive direction and away from juvenile delinquency.

Coordinated youth advisory conferences to prepare Wards of the Department of Child and Family Services for their Emancipations; Prepared and delivered lectures advising participants of available resources, job opportunities, government assistance programs and community outreach programs; Successfully assembled and facilitated the largest statewide and regional youth advisory boards in the State of Illinois for Wards within the Department of Child and Family Services.

Served the Circuit Court of Cook County's Domestic Violence and Family Violence Units. Duties included auditing arrest warrants; Ongoing court observation; Facilitation of intake assessments and referrals for adults adjudicated of domestic and family violence offenses; Co-facilitated domestic violence group treatment sessions; Researched County Court and criminal database systems; Performed County and Federal Bureau of Investigation background checks; Assisted Court Liaisons with preparing, filing and reporting to the Domestic Violence courts and facilitated ongoing sessions with offenders to satisfy the conditions of their Supervision or Conditional Discharge sentencing agreements.
