The Director, Corporate Services reports to the CEO and is responsible for running sound and effective recruitment and HR practices, supporting the financial strategy of the organisation and ensuring sound corporate, governance and risk management strategies for DVCS. Responsible for recruiting and managing strategic HR functions while ensuring cohesive and timely contract governance. Supporting the delivery of funding reports and acquittals, and collaborating with the CEO and board on strategic financial planning for the organisation. Providing strategic oversight for service improvement initiatives and the identification and mitigation of operational risks. Coordinating responses to contracts, commissioning, and grant opportunities, along with other duties as needed.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) responsible for the day-to-day Operations of the organisation as the internal-facing leader of Community Options. Managing 40 staff delivering services to over 2,300 clients with an annual operating budget of over $20 million dollars. Directly supervising Executive Directors of Client Services, Accounts Manager, ICT Manager and Senior Policy Officer.

Responsible for planning, developing, coordinating and monitoring the operation of the Quality Management System including accreditation to ISO 9001 standard. The EDQM is responsible for directly supervising the Operations Manager, Accounts Manager, Finance and Administration Team.

Responsible for maintaining organisational effectiveness by providing leadership and managing the corporate, administrative and operational functions of Community Options including the overseeing of the finance and administration team.

Guiding, leading and supervising the Client Services Team Leaders and Service Coordinators in relation to the delivery of client services and to ensure the highest standards of client service provision across the organisation.

Senior Officer Grade B - Manager, People and Performance300+ permanent staff in addition to 200+ agency and relief staff across 60+ Supported Accommodation Houses in the ACT including 4 Respite facilities.Successfully developed and implemented HR policies, programs, and training frameworks that enhanced staff performance and support within accommodation services. Managed workers' compensation claims, led professional supervision efforts, and contributed to strategic initiatives aimed at improving the lives of individuals with disabilities in the ACT.

Senior Officer Grade C - Disability Service ManagerSupervision and Management of Disability ACT's accommodation support services staffing teams including the operational, financial and human resource management across the service.
