I am a dedicated insurance specialist who works with clients across the nation to protect them from risk and actively add value to client relationships. As Executive Vice President and member of the Insurance Management Committee of Alliant/Mesirow Insurance Services in Chicago, I oversee insurance and risk management operations. In addition, I manage a large team of specialists that services a diverse portfolio of private and public sector entities. With over 26 years of experience in the insurance industry, I provide clients with targeted risk management solutions in areas such as property and casualty, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, executive liability, employee benefits, and total cost of risk. I am fortunate to work with some of the United States’ most prominent states, cities, counties, villages, parks, school districts, and public transportation authorities along with commercial construction, real estate and manufacturing entities. My experience includes reinsurance and underwriting analysis. As a trusted advisor, I offer clientele strategic counsel.I served as Governmental Affairs Chairman for the Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Illinois and for 6 years as a past Trustee for the State University retirement System (SURS). Additionally, I was a board member for the International Visitors Center of Chicago. I am a member of the City Club of Chicago and Greater North Michigan Avenue Association (GNMAA), a current Director for the Western Golf Association/Evans Scholars Foundation (WGA ESF), and a Trustee at St. Patrick High School in Chicago. I proudly served in the Illinois Army National Guard as a military reservist for 6 years. I am actively involved in numerous charitable endeavors within my community.
