Graduating in 2020 from Milwaukee School of Engineering with a second degree earned through exchange program with the Technical School of Sciences in Lubeck, Germany, I earned a bachelor's degree in business administration that saw close proximity to engineering and other STEM fields. Studying under professors who all had industry qualifications, my education was very hands on and rarely as simple as lecture halls about financial reporting. Using this knowledge and training, I am exceedingly familiar with many forms of continuous improvement strategies, lean management, or similar process-developing theories of leadership.I recently left my previous employer of Amazon as a manager at a delivery station (last mile operations!) and am now searching for a new place to aim my career. After graduating from college directly into the peak of COVID 19, I'm thankful for my time at my last employer but due to personal reasons needed a break from my career that I now hope to end.People and metrics focused, I made it my goal as a manager to be fully capable of reporting on and influencing every possible detail of my operations, while maintaining positive working relations with each employee I interacted with. I knew everyone's name, which regularly meant over 100 simultaneous associates! I prided myself in being the first to be approached by many associates for resolving problems they had, and I maintained comprehensive awareness of their talents, goals, and needs over the course of the business operations.Now I hope to find a position where I can continue this goal of improving process and people for a new company (and to get out of the house a bit more, to boot!)
