HQ Air Education and Training Command, United States Air Force, Randolph AFB, TX:-Development responsibilities currently include the full lifecycle development and support of the AETC Decision Support System (ADSS). ADSS is an Oracle/SQL Server/COGNOS based decision support system built to provide strategic Air Force training program production and forecasting.-Developed and achieved concensus on AETC ADSS Data Warehouse Vision and Scope Document. Worked with members to develop the ADSS DW Phase 1 prototype which combined Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) data from two legacy training systems and one operational training system and presented a web-based reporting environment. Worked with customers to develop ADSS Data Warehouse Requirements Specification. Developed ADSS DW Phase 1 project plan. Worked with team members to design and build ADSS DW Phase 1. Worked with team members to develop initial business intelligence product which presented sorties and flying hours by base, MDS, and student status with 99.5% data accuracy. Developed and lead successful presentations and demonstrations of products to stake holders.-Participated with team members in defining and documenting our software development methodology.

HQ Air Force Personnel Center, United States Air Force, Randolph AFB, TX:-Provided software development and maintenance services for the Military Personnel Data System (MILPDS) and Reporting Instance Data Warehouse. Responsibilities included: Defect Resolution, Software Process Redefinition, Design and Build of a Software Engineering Work Management System, Data Change Auditor/ETL process troubleshooting and maintenance.

-Design and Development of Oracle 8/Java based Data Warehouse. -Provided database architecture, design and development services for the Motive ServiceNet application development team.

-Architect/Lead developer responsible for full lifecycle development of Extract, Transform and Load system (ETL), Operational Data Store (ODS) and Data Warehouse. Responsibilities included facilitation, requirements analysis, vendor/product selection, architecture, design, development, performance analysis/tuning, end user layer development and testing.

HQ Air Force Personnel Center, United States Air Force, Randolph AFB, TX:-Lead Consultant responsible for lifecycle development of Oracle Applications Auditor, Extract, Transform & Load system, Operational Data Store, and Data Warehouse. Responsibilities included facilitation, requirements analysis, architecture, design, development, performance analysis/tuning, end user layer development, and testing,-Member of the technical architecture group responsible for the architecture of future development projects related to the enterprise OLTP application and warehouse.

-LSI Logic, Inc. - Oracle Applications Data Warehouse implementation:Lead the product installation, configuration, design, development, and implementation of an Oracle 7.3 based data warehouse utilizing PL/SQL, SQL*Loader, and the Oracle Applications Data Warehouse (OADW) v 1.1 and the Oracle transparent gateway for Sybase. -Ultramar Diamond Shamrock - Oracle Applications Data Warehouse implementation:Lead the design, development, and implementation of an Oracle 7.3 based data warehouse utilizing PL/SQL, SQL*Loader, and the Oracle Applications Data Warehouse (OADW) v 1.1. The relational warehouse then populated Oracle Express multi-dimensional database structures and web based reporting tools.-PPG Industries Inc. - Oracle HR/Payroll Application Implementation and Customization:Lead the creation of design and development standards, approach to data conversions, approach to interfaces, & custom development. This project utilized the Oracle Developer/2000 toolset for extensions and customizations of the Oracle application environment.-Sub-team facilitator for functional analysis of Compensation, Salary Administration, and Career Development areas of the project. Constructed as-is and to-be baseline documents, determined detailed requirements, module mapping and gap analysis, development estimates, design, prototyping and development.-IHS Health Services - Oracle 7 based Data Warehouse:Responsible for the collection of functional requirements, system modeling, database design, ETL development, and documentation of a successful data warehouse project

-Material Release/Truck Dispatch Software Team Lead:Facilitated software requirements definition via face-to-face interaction (JAD sessions) with sales staff. Lead the management of workload for all development projects within our team’s functional area. Lead development efforts for projects that supported the steel manufacturing process utilizing DB2, SQL, CSP, QMF, and TSO/ISPF in the MVS/ESA operating environment. Developed automated, real-time, electronic data interchange (EDI) system to receive customer product conversion specifications and transmit completed processing data. -Three-Tiered Client Server Executive Information (EIS) System: Lead a pilot project that combined data from MVS DB2, DB2/6000 using TCP/IP based DCE RPC Middleware from OEC Corp, Presentation layer provided by PowerBuilder and Visual Basic, and RPC’s developed in C and COBOL. This EIS tool provided real-time production data contrasted with target numbers for executive management.-Enterprise wide Profitability Data Warehouse:Project Lead for the design and construction of data warehouse which combined data from 11 different systems which contained data in VSAM, IMS, DB2, flat file, DBASE and SAS data formats and provided profitability reports by Customer, Product, and Salesman over time.-Lotus Notes based Customer Service Request Management System:Lead the development of a system to manage customer service requests, customer contacts, work orders, and time tracking. The system enforced Service Level Agreements with the customer base. It was Linked to an automated PC Procurement system. The System also provided management and operational reports. The system interfaced monthly with MVS/DB2 system to produce consolidated MS-Access-based chargeback reports for software development and network services.

-Participated in all phases of the software engineering of Public Utilities GUI based Distribution Network Modeling Software utilizing IBM C products, Sybase RDBMS, SQL, 4GL, CAD, OS/2 Presentation Manager and AIX/MOTIF Environments.-Developer responsible for full software lifecycle development of graphics data conversion module which converted Intergraph standard interchange format graphics files for import into the Enghouse AM/FM System.-Responsible for design, code, and quality assurance testing of graphics/database programs utilizing C and Sybase/SQL on IBM RS/6000 running AIX.

-Organized, staffed, and developed standard operating procedures for the various departments. -Implemented LAN based accounting/payroll system. -Implemented client and customer support tracking systems.-Designed winning proposal/specification to develop initial version of the AIM System.-Formulated company-wide software development standards for all software engineers including coding style, testing and documentation, and installation procedures.-Led team of developers and completed design, development, documentation and testing of initial version of the AIM System.-Designed and built applications library of relational database, user interface, & utility routines.-Designed and built 4GL-style user interface and database design tool.-Ported single-user application to multi-user LAN versions.-Added asynchronous communication capabilities to facilitate electronic billing procedures including Medicare, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and Medicaid.-Designed 4GL-style customer setup program which reduced customer support significantly.-Designed winning proposal/specification to develop statewide data collection/analysis program for all ambulance services in the state of North Carolina.-Completed design, development, and documentation and testing of North Carolina State module.
