As Executive Director I am responsible for providing the overall leadership and management for the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin. This involves working with the Board of Directors, staff and volunteers to provide programs and services which help the pets and people of our community. Of course, it also means ensuring we have the necessary funding for these programs and services. I will also be leading the Capital Campaign efforts toward building our new shelter.

As an Association Manager/Executive Director for many not for profit associations, including the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians, The National Auto Body Council, The Patent Information Users Group, The Association of Contingency Planners, The Wisconsin School Bus Association and others, I managed the Boards of Directors, events and conferences including site selection, negotiation and on site management, financial reporting, membership recruitment and non dues revenue generation.

My responsibilities included management and sales for the world's largest Minuteman Press.

At Saks Fifth Avenue, Oakbrook, I wore many hats including the Fine and Fashion Jewelry manager, Handbags and Accessories Manager and St. John Knits Manager all simultaneously, as well as acting as General manager in the absence of the G.M.. My responsibilities included hiring, coaching and sales, setting and meeting of plans, merchandising of departments, inventory and overall responsibility for staff and success of my departments. During my tenure each of my departments exceeded plan by more than 15% and I was able to reduce overal shrinkage to less than 2%.
