Working on a rocket to be launched at the Spaceport America Cup in New Mexico, summer 2023. Creating a load cell and pressure sensor circuit to collect data in the static test using Arduino IDE and circuitry skills.Designing the AV Bay sled and the system to deploy the parachutes out of the rocket at the competition’s specified heights.

Selected to be a student peer counselor. A peer counselor works with new first year students as a confidential confidant. Peer counselors work to help new students have the best first year possible at W&L.

Designing a bridge for the city of Buena Vista, VA. Competing in the Engineering World Health competition, leading a team working to create an easy access at home machine learning based forward head rounding postural diagnostic system. Scheduling club meetings and organizing events in the community such as attending the local elementary STEAM night to perform experiments or planning an upperclassmen engineering student internship advice panel.

Working with the Head of the Engineering Department, Professor Irina Mazilu, on learning the effects of implementing the Ising Model and variable magnetic fields into machine learning programs

- Second summer internship with QCM. Project one: Software reverse engineering using Ghidra. Real experience with C and ARM assembly. Project two: Six week summer sprint challenge to creatively use OSINT. Garnered experience working in a fast pace team environment. Utilized programming skills to create a back end data pipeline between two previously unconnected applications. Learned basic OSINT work skills. Project three: High level cybersecurity project involving creating a use case example for a new internal framework for system defense. Contributed to the framework with creative thoughts and ideas in the cybersecurity realm.

- Project One: Created an analytical hierarchy process (AHP) scoring system for a multi criteria decision allowing analysts to prioritize criteria based on importance; provided an extensive use case, and developed surrounding starting point context questions to help the scorer think deeper about their course of action. - Project Two: Worked in a team of interns to transmit and receive data from a PIR sensor using an Arduino Uno, a 434 Mhz transmitter, and a 434 Mhz receiver. Became familiar with the 433Utils library, working with a headless RPi, and working in a team environment in the workplace. Presented our prototype to around 100 people. - Project Three: Evaluated engineering cyber defense design patterns for their applicability in a system. Learned more about systems engineering as a whole and specifics about cyber defense patterns.
