As the Director of QA/ QC, Mr. Moore is expected to develop a quality assurance staff by recruiting, selecting, orientating and training employees. Mr. Moore will also strive to evaluate construction operations, across the company footprint from a strategic level to ensure that work meets the quality, integrity, functionality, and any other specification and requirements by the owner and or client. Mr. Moore will also collaborate with management staff of Mutiple disciplines to establish acceptable quality standards. In addition to assessing test results from outside agencies, Mr. Moore will also assist with the development of strategies that will bring the company to a zero-defect reputation. During the course of a project, Mr. Moore will conduct random inspections and quality control checks and review quality control documentation such as checklists, logs, and reports for effectiveness, accuracy, and relevance, while reporting the findings to executive management for further evaluation.

Mr. Moore is a QA/ QC Manager with thirty-five years of diverse geotechnical and construction monitoring and materials testing management experience. He has worked on a wide range of commercial, institutional, industrial, oil & gas, public and municipal projects. Currently, Michael is implementing a new QA/ QC management program for Rycon Constructions Inc. which will evolve from the New Pittsburgh International Airport project that includes a new 5 story pre-cast parking garage, new parking areas, multiple bridges, and an interiors package. Michael has over 20 years of management experience in regards to standardizing the IBC chapter 17 management and Special Inspections program corporate/ multi-office wide along with training for geotechnical, construction quality assurance and control, life safety and fall protection. Specialties: Geotechnical, Timber Construction, IBC Special Inspections and Construction Materials Testing and Observations, Construction Plans and Specifications, Floor Profiling (FF/ FL), life safety and fall protection.

As a construction services manager, it is my responsibility to train and audit work performed by all construction technicians during their work such as soils, concrete, masonry and asphalt. My role here at CEC is to also train technicians to perform other complex inspections such as steel (welds and bolted systems), cold form metal framing, wood construction, EIFS, coatings and floor profiling. Another part of my career is to standardize all offices pertaining to special inspections and assist finding and procuring new construction projects, while keeping other projects moving forward in a positive direction. Lastly, my work here is to seek new ways to introduce business development of new and existing clients.
