Successful run down of $10 million in receivables as a result of a consolidation of the South Texas Business Units.Developed a reconciliation process and excel worksheet between the South Texas billing system and AMR's mainframe system.Expanded electronic transaction posting creating efficiencies and reassigning the FTEs to the Quality Assurance/Audit Department.Set up department and process to maintain and obtain Medicare provider numbers for the entire corporation.

Responsible for the daily operations in Patient Accounts, Centralized Scheduling, Inpatient Admitting, Outpatient Registration, Precertification, Authorization and the Mercy Professional Care Corporation. Also the chair of the compliance committee and was responsible to implement all compliance policies in respect to the revenue cycle. Supervised ninety five FTEs and four managers:Managed transition of revenue cycle operations from for-profit to non-profit status.Maintained cash collections at greater than 100% of net revenue for 20 out of 24 months.
